How to order
For fresh food and snacks, you can place, change or cancel an order starting 7 days and no later than 20 hours before departure. In select markets, orders must be placed up to 30 hours before takeoff.
- Find your trip in your AAdvantage® account and select ‘Reserve food’
- Choose up to 2 fresh food and snack options per passenger in your reservation
- If you make any changes to your flight, you’ll need to place a new order
You’ll only be charged after your reserved item has been delivered by a flight attendant on board.
If your selected item isn’t available, you can purchase another fresh food or snack option during your flight. If another form of payment is needed, you can pay for your reserved items with AAdvantage® miles or use a contactless payment method.

If your reservation has been changed or canceled, then you’ll need to place a new order. You won’t be charged for any removed items.
Yes. If you’re redeeming a complimentary item or using a food and beverage coupon, the highest-priced item in your order will be complimentary. You’ll be charged for any additional items.
No. If you’re traveling with family or friends on the same reservation, all reserved items will be charged to the same payment method. If you update the payment method, it will be used to pay for all reserved items on the flight reservation.
