You have more options for purchasing tickets on AA.com! We allow the convenience of electronic check payments. Paying with an electronic check, or eCheck, is similar to a paper check transaction. You pay directly from your personal checking account, and it's processed through the system banks use for electronic deposits and payments. It's safe and easy - just enter the bank routing and account numbers printed on the bottom of your paper check. TeleCheck® converts your information into an electronic funds transfer item and processes it through the Automated Clearing House (ACH) network. Think of it as a check without the paper.
When booking your flight on AA.com, you may use eChecks to pay for your revenue ticket. You can make payments from your checking account provided:
- It is a personal check drawn on a bank branch in the U.S., Puerto Rico or the U.S. Virgin Islands
- The bank account is funded in U.S. dollars
- You have a U.S. mailing address, a U.S. driver's license or state-issued ID and you are authorized to sign on the account
- You purchase your ticket more than 15 days prior to travel
- The transaction amount does not exceed $5,000.00 USD
